UPDATE (3/17): Nebraska has officially canceled the annual Red-White Spring Game for 2020. The Huskers have updated their website with information on ticket refunds and ticket office information.
“The University of Nebraska has canceled the Red-White Spring Game on April 18 out of concern for public health and safety of fans, student-athletes and staff,” the Huskers shared on the website.
Nebraska’s 2020 annual Red-White Spring Game has in all likelihood been canceled. Athletic director Bill Moos shared the news on his monthly appearance on Sports Nightly, saying it won’t happen on April 18 and "most probably will not occur at all."

Discussions about the potential of canceling the annual event due to COVID-19 concerns, commonly known as coronavirus, started in early March. University officials, along with representatives for the Nebraska athletic department, have been in discussion and previously described the situation as fluid.
The Huskers’ decision to postpone the annual event decision comes after several other schools also made the decision to cancel their spring games. That list is growing quickly and includes Ohio State, Cincinnati, Kent State and Michigan.
The Big Ten also announced late last week that all activities are suspended until at least April 6. Moos hopes Nebraska can get some of the spring practices back to use, potentially this summer, since the Huskers have only used 13 out of the 15 allowed.
On Monday, Nebraska volleyball canceled the team’s spring match scheduled for April 25.
