Officials and captains will use the commemorative flipping coin to honor Foltz and Sadler. After this weekend, each Big Ten program will have the choice to continue using the coin or to use the traditional Nile Kinnick Big Ten Coin. Nebraska has already said it plans to use the commemorative coin for the remainder of its home games in 2016.
The coin was developed collaboratively by representatives from Nebraska, Michigan State, the Foltz and Sadler families and the Big Ten Conference, according to Nebraska Athletics.
