The Ohio State Buckeyes have gone above and beyond to honor the late Sam Foltz before and during Saturday’s matchup with the Huskers.
During pre-game warmups, the team presented the Foltz family with a
helmet and 27 Buckeyes. The Huskers were also welcomed to the field by a
‘SF27’ decal outside of their locker room.

In addition to everything else, the Ohio State marching band also built
in a tribute formation during its performance Saturday night. The
formation concludes the band’s halftime routine, titled ‘Superheroes!’
