Nebraska had two former players representing at the NFL Combine, with both safety Nathan Gerry and tight end Cethan Carter showing off their skills over the weekend. Both were impressive, earning several compliments from those in attendance.

Nathan Gerry
Gerry’s performance at the NFL Combine was enough to earn the compliment that he is “chiseled from granite.” He has some areas of weakness to work on before the NFL Draft (full analysis here), but overall Gerry seemed to impress over the weekend.

Cethan Carter
Carter showed off his strength as a “block-first” tight end, and highlighted his athleticism at the NFL Combine. His hands were his biggest concern over the weekend, but there’s plenty of potential for Carter (full analysis here).
