Yes, they’re coming to your city, Nebraska fans.
College GameDay announced that the popular ESPN show will be bringing its set to Lincoln, Nebraska, for the Huskers’ matchup with Ohio State.

The announcement comes after Nebraska defeated Illinis on the road, 42-38, to open Big Ten play. The win was also the Huskers’ 900th all-time win. Nebraska is now 3-1 on the season with the lone loss coming in overtime to Colorado on the road. As for Ohio State, the Buckeyes will come to Lincoln with a 4-0 record after defeating Miami (Ohio).
Nebraska has hosted College GameDay six times in program history, with the most recent coming in 2007. The then-No. 14 Huskers faced the then-No. 1 USC Trojans on Sept. 15, 2007. Nebraska fell 49–31 in Bill Callahan’s final season as the Huskers’ head coach.
As for all-time appearances (meaning Nebraska hosts or is part of the matchup featured), the Huskers have made 16 total appearances on the show. The most recent came in Madison, Wisconsin, in 2011. It was Nebraska’s first season in the Big Ten and the Huskers were ranked No. 8. Wisconsin was No. 7. The Badgers won, 48–17.
Nebraska has won nine of its 16 matchups featured as the primary game on College GameDay. The Huskers will try to make that 10 against Ohio State on Saturday.
