News broke yesterday that senior offensive lineman Dwayne Johnson intended to transfer from Nebraska to play his final season of eligibility as a graduate transfer.
On Thursday, Johnson announced where he’ll continue his career.

Johnson, a Houston native, appeared in two games last season for Nebraska. As a high school prospect Johnson chose the Huskers over offers from Arkansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Purdue, Virginia and Washington State.
He joins a Texas Tech offense that returns eight starters and averaged the most yards per game (566.6) in the country last season.
