Pull out your pocket schedules and a Sharpies, we’ve got game times and television networks for five Husker games this fall.
The networks released a slew of start times on Wednesday, including the following Nebraska games (all times Central).
9/9 at Oregon, 3:30 p.m., FOX
There were some rumblings that this game could be Nebraska-Oregon After Dark, but the Huskers and Ducks will get a national broadcast on Fox instead. This is Nebraska’s first trip to Oregon since 1952.
9/16 Northern Illinois, 11 a.m., FS1
The Huskies travel to Lincoln for the first time since 1990 to face the Huskers. Nebraska won in 1989 and 1990, the only two meetings in this series.
9/23 Rutgers, 2:30 or 3 p.m., TBA
No network for this one yet, but Rutgers’ second-ever trip to Nebraska will get an afternoon kickoff. The Huskers beat the Scarlet Knights 42-24 in their only other trip to Memorial Stadium
9/29 @ Illinois, 7 p.m., FS1
The much-discussed Friday night games are here and, proponent or opponent, the game will deliver the potential primetime exposure it promised with a telecast from FS1. Illinois won the last meeting in Champaign-Urbana 14-13 in 2015.
11/24 Iowa, 3 p.m., FS1
The annual Black Friday battle gets a bit of a later start meaning this one will finish under the lights.
ESPN also released its schedule for the first three weeks and Nebraska wasn’t on there. That means you can probably look for the Huskers’ opener against Arkansas State to be carried by the Big Ten Network.
