In a typical year our photographers shoot thousands of images over hundreds of Husker games and matches. This year, of course, was anything but. We shot one baseball game in the spring before the season was postponed and then canceled. Our only volleyball match in 2020 was on the “beach” in Nebraska. Those were two of the last events we shot this year for about six months, but the return of prep sports in the fall allowed us to get the photo muscles working again. By the time the Huskers returned to the field, and eventually court, we were grateful to get back to one of the things we love most.
