Head coach Mike Riley continued his tour of Nebraska on Wednesday at a private event in Omaha. It was all going according to the schedule, as shown by the Nebraska spirit squads on Twitter.

The schedule took an unexpected turn after the private event though, when Riley made the short trip from the First National Bank Tower to the CenturyLink Center. Chance the Rapper was also in Omaha for the evening for a concert, so Riley and his wife Dee did the only thing one would do in that situation: They met Chance the Rapper.

The meeting had a clear effect on recruiting, as Nebraska commit Brendan Radley-Hiles tweeted out his approval.

Riley didn’t just meet Chance, either. He and Dee stuck around for the show, enjoying it from start to finish.

And, of course, FauxPelini chimed in on the meeting.

As they say, there’s no place like Nebraska.
