Nebraska returns home after a week on the road to face Illinois. After the TV networks utilized a six-day window to decide on the official start times last week, the matchup officially has a kickoff time. Nebraska-Illinois on Nov. 10 is scheduled for an 11 a.m. CT kickoff. The game will be carried on the Big Ten Network.
Saturday's matchup is only the 15th between the two programs. The series dates back to 1892. Nebraska currently holds an 11-3-1 lead in the series.
The Huskers and Fighting Illini did not initially meet in the first two years that Nebraska was in the Big Ten conference, but the two have met every year since 2013. The Huskers have only dropped one meeting since then, a 14-13 loss on the road in 2015.
Illinois is currently 4-5 on the season. The Illini come into the matchup after a 55-31 win over Minnesota on Saturday. Nebraska, who is 2-7 on the season after a 36-31 loss to Ohio State, previously defeated the Minnesota Golden Gophers 53-28.
