Moving the ball against an Iowa defense isn’t easy in the best of times. Nebraska will have to do it on Friday with a first-time starter at quarterback, a banged up running back room and an offensive line that, well, hasn’t been good enough often enough in 2021.
The matchup gets a bit better for the Huskers when you flip it around. The Blackshirts have been excellent at limiting big plays––to an almost Iowa-like degree––but this Hawkeye offense doesn’t need a whole lot to keep Iowa in games.
How does it all come together for Nebraska, like a perfectly executed and considered Thanksgiving plate? We talk about that and more in this week’s I-80 Preview, Black Friday edition.
