Forecast and updates brought to you by Rusty Dawkins of Husker Weather.

Nebraska vs. Michigan

Date: Saturday, Oct. 9

Current Forecast

We’re getting well into the month of October and should be cooling off by now, but that is not going to be the case for the Huskers’ matchup with Michigan!

The average high for today is 70 degrees. We’ll be a solid 15 to almost 20 degrees above that this afternoon. By the time we get the game underway tonight, we’ll still be right around 80 degrees and then slowly cool off during the game, dropping to around 70 by the end of the fourth quarter. There will also be a bit of a breeze to contend with for the first half of the game, but by the time the sun goes down, the wind will die down with it. Rain should stay away for the game with mainly partly cloudy skies.

Here is the hour-by-hour forecast:

  • 6:30 m.: Partly cloudy and breezy, 80 degrees, southwest wind at 10 to 20 mph.
  • 8 p.m.: Partly cloudy and breezy, 73 degrees, southwest wind at 10 to 20 mph.
  • 10 p.m.: Partly cloudy, 70 degrees, southwest wind at 5 to 15 mph.
