You are looking live . . . well, this is a podcast so listening live, I guess . . . and, actually, it’s recorded so not that either. Let’s just give up on this whole Brent Musburger bit.
This is the first full episode of the I-80 Preview podcast. It has one goal each week––get you ready for the upcoming Nebraska game with a unique blend of analysis and commentary. What does I-80 have to do with it? The original concept for this podcast was to provide everything you’d need to feel better-prepared for the game in a window that would be perfect for driving from, say, Omaha to Memorial Stadium. That means about an hour each week during football season.
(As a proud Panhandle resident used to driving long distances for anything, I thought about making each episode six hours long to accommodate those with longer Cornhusker commutes, but it’s just not practical.)
This week, of course, we’re talking everything Huskers-Buckeyes as Nebraska travels to Columbus to (finally) open the 2020 season. It’s a big challenge––Ohio State is nearly a four-touchdown favorite––and we get into why in this episode. I also revisit Urban Meyer’s postgame comments about Nebraska after the 2018 game, offer three things the Huskers probably have to do to compete on Saturday and highlight some players to watch.
The I-80 Preview will have new episodes each week during football season. You can listen to the new episode below or, better yet, subscribe via Apple Podcasts, Spotify or your preferred pod purveyor.
The I-80 Preview podcast is a Hurrdat Media production.
