Nebraska-Oklahoma 2022: Game Day Forecast and Weather Updates

September 15, 2022

Forecast and updates brought to you by Rusty Dawkins of Husker Weather.

Nebraska vs. Oklahoma

Location: Memorial Stadium (Lincoln, Nebraska)

Date: Saturday, Sept. 17

Time: 11 a.m. CT

Current Forecast

We are going to be dealing with a couple of different weather issues on Saturday as the Huskers take on Oklahoma. The first will be the rain and storm chance early in the day. Overnight Friday into early Saturday, a batch of showers and storms will be moving across the state from west to east and may still be in the Lincoln area the first half of the day Saturday. If you have tailgate plans, be sure to have a way to stay dry!

After the rain moves out, which should be by late morning, the sun breaks out and we warm up quick. Temperatures will jump into the 80s by noon and near 90 by the end of the fourth quarter. This will be in part due to a gusty south wind at 10 to 25 mph.

Here is the hour-by-hour forecast for Lincoln:Kickoff: Cloudy with lingering showers and storms, 78 degrees, southwest wind at 10 to 20 mph.

Halftime: Partly cloudy, 85 degrees, southwest wind at 10 to 25 mph.

End of game: Partly cloudy, 90 degrees, southwest wind at 10 to 25 mph.
