Nebraska (2-6, 1-4 Big Ten) opened as a 22.5-point underdog to Ohio State on Sunday. The Buckeyes come into the matchup after a bye week. The Huskers were also originally slated for a bye week prior to this matchup, but instead opted to schedule Bethune-Cookman to make up for the canceled season opener with Akron.
Ohio State is currently 7-1 on the season. The Buckeyes only loss came on Oct. 20 to Purdue. The Boilermakers stunned Ohio State in that meeting, 49-20.
Nebraska comes into the matchup after defeating Bethune-Cookman 45-9 and Minnesota 53-28 the week prior.
Nebraska and Ohio State have only met a total of six times in program history. The Buckeyes currently hold a 5-1 lead in the series, with Nebraska's one win coming in 2011 (the Huskers' first in the Big Ten).
ESPN’s Football Power Index currently projects Ohio State's chances of winning at 95.5 percent.
Saturday's matchup is set for a 11 a.m. CT kickoff on FOX.
