The Matt Rhule era makes its debut at Nebraska on Saturday, April 22, for the annual Red-White Spring Game. Kickoff is scheduled at Memorial Stadium for 1:05 p.m. CT.
More than 65,000 tickets had been sold for the spring game as of Thursday morning. Fans unable to attend in person will be able to watch the event on Big Ten Network.
Nebraska will also honor former Huskers head football coach and player Frank Solich at Saturday’s game. Solich and his family will be recognized on the field at halftime. Solich spoke with the media ahead of the game on Friday, saying the time was right to make the return to Nebraska.

Radio: Nebraska fans can listen to the game on the Huskers Radio Network and the official Huskers App. Husker Sports Network coverage begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Greg Sharpe, Damon Benning and Jessica Coody will provide the coverage of the spring game on the Huskers Radio Network.

Weather: The spring game forecast has cloudy skies with wind during the morning and a high of 52 degrees. Winds are expected NNW at 20 to 30 mph. Higher wind gusts will be possible.
Nebraska football spring game: What to know, read and watch
First, Nebraska fans attending the spring game can participate in the Unity Walk. Fans are encouraged to gather on the East Stadium plaza (outside of Gate 20). The Huskers are expected to arrive at the stadium shortly after 10:30 a.m. CT.
Fans can also stop by the autograph zone outside of East Stadium to meet current Huskers Bekka Allick, Lindsay Krause and Lexi Rodriguez and 2022 senior Nicklin Hames. The four athletes will be signing autographs for fans from 10 a.m. to noon.
Additionally, the Huskers are set to unveil the updated Herbie Husker before kickoff of Saturday’s game.
