Nebraska’s annual Red-White Spring Game may have been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that doesn’t mean the Huskers are letting the day go by without some fanfare. Nebraska will host a virtual spring game using rosters built from legendary Huskers. The game will played on an Xbox utilizing the EA Sports video game NCAA Football.
In addition to the game—which will be played as a computer simulation in the first half and then by two mystery guests in the second half—the Huskers will also show a replay of a Tunnel Walk from 2001, the national anthem and the Healthy Husker pledge. Coach Tom Osborne will also stop by for a halftime interview.
