The Huskers’ roster just took a significant blow.
Sophomore wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson has entered the transfer portal with intentions to leave Nebraska. He shared the news in a post on Twitter.

To this point, Nebraska had not had much attrition after a disappointing 3-5 season in 2020. Defensive lineman Keem Green and offensive tackle Matthew Anderson were the other two non-seniors to depart prior to Robinson.
If you made a shortlist of players the Huskers would not want to lose, the Kentucky native would be at the top of the list. In the 2020 season, Robinson had 51 catches for 461 yards and one touchdown. The next four leading receivers combined for 52 receptions. Robinson was the team’s fourth leading rusher in the 2020 season as well.
Robinson was one of the faces of Nebraska’s program under Coach Scott Frost. He was the only football player to speak at the unveiling of the new football facility. The offensive weapon is on the shortlist for biggest recruiting wins of the Frost Era. Landing him over Kentucky, Ohio State, Purdue and Alabama was a big moment for Frost hoping to get his offense off the ground in Lincoln.
Robinson is the fourth member of the 2019 class to depart the team, alongside Anderson, Green and receiver Darien Chase. Hail Varsity will have more on this developing story.
