Nebraska-Wisconsin 2022: Game Day Forecast and Weather Updates

November 17, 2022

Forecast and updates brought to you by Rusty Dawkins of Husker Weather.

Nebraska vs. Wisconsin

Location: Memorial Stadium (Lincoln, Nebraska)

Date: Saturday, Nov. 19

Time: 11 a.m. CT

Current Forecast

It’s been an unseasonably cold week in the Cornhusker state and unfortunately, that will carry over into the game on Saturday. On average, temperatures this time of year are in the 50s for highs, but Mother Nature has other plans and they include Old Man Winter.

While precipitation isn’t going to be an issue, the cold definitely will be. Early Saturday morning temperatures will start around 20 degrees and then we slowly warm up into the lower 30s by the afternoon. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds with more sun than clouds.

Overall, that wouldn’t be a terrible forecast, but we haven’t talked about the wind yet. It’s going to be blowing out of the northwest all day at 15 to 30 mph. That’s going to give us wind chills in the teens! So, bundle up, dress in layers, and find a place to warm up often! Here is the hour-by-hour forecast for Lincoln:

Kickoff: A few clouds and cold, 28 degrees, wind chill of 12, northwest wind at 15 to 30 mph.

Halftime: A few clouds, 30 degrees, wind chill of 18, northwest wind at 15 to 30 mph.

End of game: A few clouds, 33 degrees, wind chill of 19, northwest wind at 15 to 25 mph.
