Former Nebraska running back Rex Burkhead scored his first career postseason touchdown on Sunday. The current New England Patriot’s 6-yard touchdown run gave the Patriot’s a 28-7 lead in the second quarter of Sunday’s AFC Divisional matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers.

Sunday’s game marked Burkhead’s fifth career NFL playoff game. Three of those have been with New England.
Burkhead missed eight games earlier this season after suffering a neck injury in Week 3. He returned to play in the final five for the Patriots, putting together 100 yards rushing, 100 yards receiving and one touchdown during that time.
Burkhead added to that total on Sunday and in doing so, snagged his first career playoff touchdown.
