Three Huskers are Shrine Bowl-bound.
Cornerback Lamar Jackson and defensive linemen Carlos and Khalil Davis have accepted invites to the East-West Shrine Bowl, an annual all-star game in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Jackson finished his senior year with 40 tackles, four TFLs, 1.0 sack, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions and 12 pass breakups. He also started in every game as a senior for Nebraska.
Khalil finished his senior season with a team-high eight sacks. That’s the most by a Nebraska defender since the 2015 season. Carlos was second with four. Khalil also finished with a a career-high 45 tackles and 12 TFLs.
The Shrine Bowl is a game and scouting opportunity for college seniors. The NFL has a partnership with the Shrine Bowl, which was recently enhanced in September.
The East-West Shrine Bowl will take place Saturday, Jan. 18 at 2 p.m. CT on the NFL Network.
