What happens the one week that Nebraska has a bye? Well, apparently clowns take over the world and wreak havoc on people. Yes, it even happened in Lincoln, Nebraska. As a result, it made for quite the week on Twitter. Miss any of the commotion? Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered in this week’s Tweets of the Week.
“Last night at our RA meeting we had a talk about clowns. Like on our agenda it said “Clown Protocol.” WE HAVE A FREAKING CLOWN PROTOCOL?!”

You can apparently never be too prepared.
Just had a discussion w/ my son on what to do if he sees a clown. I don’t know how to complete this tweet.

See? Never too prepared.
Just an FYI, the Railyard is a “clown-free zone”. pic.twitter.com/lbnSXR0o1V

Who knew that The Railyard is a clown-free zone?
I know we test the civil defense sirens every other Wednesday at 10:15 a.m., but part of me wondered this morning if it was a clown alert.

Not Nebraska but apparently Penn State had a giant clown hunt one night. Welcome to the Big Ten, people.
If you grew up in the hood, killer clowns ain’t nothing new, lol.

Fair point.
Dear clowns,
My 4 year old has a birthday coming up. Are any of you available?
Thanks,
A dad— Rusty Dawkins (@rustywx) October 4, 2016
When life hands you lemons, make lemonade.
Regarding clown sightings: at this time there is no threat to the University Campus or its students. #pranksgonebad

We’re going to be OK.
As always, give us a follow on Twitter if you haven’t already. You should also like us on Facebook and follow us on Instagram. You’ll always be kept in the loop on all things that are trending, even if that’s a clown takeover.
