Nebraska jumped out to a big halftime lead over Penn State behind two takeaways and a strong start from redshirt freshman quarterback Luke McCaffrey, but it was the Blackshirts who had to seal the deal, twice, with the Nittany Lions threatening to tie the game in the fourth quarter.

The 30-23 win was the Huskers’ first of the 2020 season, while Penn State fell to 0-4.
