WATCH: Nebraska Coach Scott Frost on Injuries, Wisconsin and More

October 01, 2018

Nebraska coach Scott Frost addressed the media Monday morning following Saturday's 42-28 loss to Purdue. He spoke about injuries, what he saw on film from the weekend, the matchup with Wisconsin and plenty more.

Frost mentioned injuries for both Mick Stoltenberg and Will Honas, who were both absent from Nebraska's latest depth chart. Frost said Stoltenberg won’t be back “any time in the near future" but called him a warrior and hopes to have him back when he is able.

As for Honas, Frost confirmed the inside linebacker will have to have season-ending surgery. He suffered ligament damage to his knee.

Frost also spoke about the strength of Wisconsin. He said the Badgers are a team that are well-coached. They also do not beat themselves.

When it comes to his own team, Frost said he hopes the last game was a watershed moment for the team. He still believes it's moving in the right way and felt the team had a good Monday.

"If we're getting better day-by-day, you'll inevitably get where you want," Frost said.
