Nebraska (0-2) heads to Ann Arbor this Saturday to face No. 19 Michigan (2-1) in the Big Ten opener for both schools. It's the Huskers' first road game of 2018 and as of early Monday morning there was no line on the game as oddsmakers likely waited for an update on the status of Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez.
Martinez missed the Huskers' 24-19 loss to Troy as he recovered from a knee injury suffered late in the loss to Colorado.
Nebraska head coach Scott Frost offered an update on Martinez, confirming that he practiced on Monday but "that's all I'll say."
The Huskers will be careful about whether or not they use Martinez against Michigan, and it will be evaluated over the week. Frost said he was close against Troy, but wasn't quite ready.
"We need him the rest of the year and the rest of his career," Frost said.
He also reviewed the Troy game and offered an early look ahead at the Wolverines at his weekly Monday press conference.
