Freshman wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson Jr. was cited on Friday by university police for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
According to the police report, a Resident Director at Selleck Hall called the university police after detecting “possible narcotic usage” by a group of students around 3:45 p.m. Police found 4.5 grams of marijuana as well as drug paraphernalia in Johnson’s room. He was cited for marijuana possession of less than one ounce.
Johnson, a true freshman, enrolled at Nebraska in January. News of the citation was first reported by the Omaha World Herald.
