In case you missed it, our talented team created a Scott Frost action figure for the cover of Hail Varsity's December issue. We were looking for a creative way to illustrate Frost's hire and thought an action figure under a Christmas tree was the perfect solution. Our design director Quentin Lueninghoener explained the entire process.
It was our most popular issue ever, selling out on newsstands across the state in just a few days (even hours at some locations). Sorry, we're sold out too. Our phones were ringing for weeks, with people asking where they could purchase this rare Husker collectible.
So we got to thinking, how great would it be to give one away? It would be the ultimate bragging right among Husker fans and the ultimate conversation piece for years to come.
So we're heading back to the studio to build an exact replica, just like the one on the cover for one lucky fan.
