John Cook

Head Coach

Cook enters his 22nd season at Nebraska as one of the most accomplished coaches in the game. He has led the Huskers to four national championships, six NCAA Finals and nine NCAA Semifinals. A 2017 inductee to the AVCA Hall of Fame, Cook is the fifth-winningest coach in NCAA history.

Tyler Hildebrand

Assistant Head Coach

Hildebrand returns to Nebraska in 2020 as associate head coach. He previously spent one season in Lincoln as an assistant, helping the Huskers to the 2017 national title. Hildebrand spent the past two seasons as the Director of Coaching for the USA Volleyball Beach National Team Program. As a player, Hildebrand was an All-American at Long Beach State and also played for the U.S. Men’s National Team.

Jaylen Reyes

Assistant Coach / Recruiting Coordinator

Reyes enters his third season on the Nebraska staff, adding recruiting coordinator duties for 2020. A former BYU libero, Reyes joined Nebraska in 2018 after a successful stint as an assistant at his alma mater.

Kelly Hunter

Interim Assistant Coach

One of the most accomplished players in Husker history, Hunter joined Nebraska as a graduate assistant in 2019. The former All-American setter will serve as the Huskers’ interim assistant coach until August when Tyler Hildebrand rejoins the program following the 2020 Olympics.
