QB Spencer Petras Loved Lincoln, Seeking 'the Right School'

April 25, 2017

With eight commits to date, Nebraska's 2018 class is taking shape. While the Huskers are nearly full (if not already full) at wide receiver and cornerback, the Nebraska coaches are still in search of the signal caller for the 2018 class. One name that has emerged is Spencer Petras, an intriguing prospect from Greenbrae, California.

Despite throwing for 3,308 yards and 33 touchdowns while leading Marin Catholic to the Division 3 state finals as a junior, Petras remains relatively under the radar with just one power five scholarship offer. Petras' low offer list may change soon, as the talented signal caller took as visit to Lincoln on April 1 and offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf made a visit to California on Monday to see him.
