Zach Hannon Transferring to Kansas

April 27, 2017

Zach Hannon became the second Nebraska lineman to announce he will leave Nebraska for the Big 12 on Thursday. The senior will transfer to Kansas after graduating from Nebraska in May.

Hannon announced his decision to transfer in early April after sharing the news that his dad had been diagnosed with stage II prostate cancer. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, playing for the Jayhawks will allow Hannon to be closer to his dad and family.

He visited Kansas for the Jayhawks' spring game and clearly found the fit he was seeking.

Joining Hannon in transferring is Dwayne Johnson, who is headed to Texas Tech.
