John Harbaugh Honors Sam Foltz, Mike Sadler on NFL Network

April 29, 2017

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh took a moment on Saturday to honor the lives of Sam Foltz and Mike Sadler. During a live interview on the NFL Network, Harbaugh paused to reflect on the two young men and pass along his thoughts and condolences to the families and teammates of Foltz and Sadler.

“I just want to pass prayers and tribute out to his family – both of their families – because those are guys that would have been in the draft this year,” Harbaugh said. “Sam would have been drafted this year. He was one of the absolute best specialists in the country and I know our players had a good relationship with those guys. (Ravens special teams coordinator Jerry) Rosburg had a great relationship with Sam.

"There's a lot of great celebration going on right now for all these young men but there's also some heartbreak and some disappointment, and I just want to keep that in mind too and in our prayers."

Foltz and Sadler both died in a car accident last July. Their lives have continued to be honored by opponents, the Big Ten and the NFL over the last year.
