CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Huskers (3-2, 2-0 Big Ten) remained undefeated in conference play with a big win over Illinois (2-2, 0-1 Big Ten) on the road Friday night. Twitter had some thoughts throughout.

Breaking news out of Lincoln, interim athletic director Dave Rimington has decided to extend head coach Mike Riley through 2032 after watching the Nebraska-Illinois game.

Narrator: “They were, in fact, ready.”

Bonus

This wasn’t from the game, but it started circulating after the Huskers took their first lead of the game. The Nebraska family lost an important member this week.
