Report: Tanner Lee to Participate in Senior Bowl

January 17, 2018

Former Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph reportedly has a foot injury that will force him to miss the Senior Bowl. Former Nebraska quarterback Tanner Lee will take his place, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Lee declared for the NFL Draft after two seasons in Lincoln, deciding to forgo his final year of eligibility. Lee will join, among others, Heisman winner Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma), Luke Falk (Washington State) and Josh Allen (Wyoming) in Mobile, Alabama, for the Jan. 27 game.

The full roster will be announced on Thursday.

Lee started all 12 games for the Huskers in 2017, throwing for 3,143 yards and 23 touchdowns. He completed 57.5 percent of his passes and tossed a conference-leading 16 interceptions.

So far, he is the only former Husker known to be participating in the event.
