Nebraska and Iowa will once again meet on Black Friday starting in 2022. The Big Ten announced the 2022-25 conference football schedules Wednesday afternoon, which highlighted the return of the Black Friday matchup between the Huskers and Hawkeyes.

Nebraska will face Minnesota to end the regular season in 2020 and 2021, something athletic director Bill Moos wanted to correct quickly. The Huskers and Hawkeyes have met on Black Friday every year since Nebraska joined the Big Ten in 2011. The two programs will still meet to end the regular season in 2018 and 2019 before the two year hiatus.

Other quick notes from the conference schedule announcement:

>> Nebraska and Michigan will meet each season from 2022 to 2025. The Wolverines will travel to Lincoln in 2023 and 2025, with Nebraska heading to Ann Arbor in 2022 and 2024.

>> Nebraska will only face Ohio State once in those four seasons. The Huskers will host the Buckeyes at Memorial Stadium in 2024.

>> Nebraska will open its season with Big Ten opponents in both 2023 and 2025. In 2023, Nebraska will open its season at Minnesota on Sept. 2. As for 2025, Nebraska will kick off its season on Aug. 30 at Illinois.

>> Speaking of 2023, Nebraska will also be on the road the following week after the season opener to face Colorado. That's the first time Nebraska will have back-to-back road games to start the season since 1995.
