>> The Huskers have currently won 888 total games in program history.

What They’re Saying

Head coach Mike Riley on the seniors adapting to him and turning things around after the 2015 season:

“I could go through name by name and basically tell (the seniors) I appreciate them because they allowed that to happen. It’s one of those things that takes time, but it’s really the fun part of our job, because once you’ve got everybody kind of believing, then you can overcome the hard times, you can enjoy the good times, you can grow, and there’s not a lot of wondering what it’s going to be like.”

Wide receiver Brandon Reilly on senior day:

“It is going to be pretty big. Growing up here, I remember selling pop during Husker games and I would get in trouble because I wouldn’t sell, I would just watch. Being on the opposite end there, it will be a pretty special feeling that I will probably remember for a long time.”

Center Dylan Utter on his final game at home:

“It’ll be a bittersweet feeling. We put a lot of hard work in this place and a lot of guys have played a lot of snaps here. It’s going to be special. And with old’ Foltzie not being there too, it just adds to the emotion that happens on a senior day. The most important thing is leaving this stadium with a win and going undefeated at home as a senior.”
