Nebraska (8-3-3, 4-0-2 Big Ten) remained unbeaten in conference play Saturday with a 1-1 draw on the road against Ohio State (6-4-1, 3-1-1 Big Ten).

The draw also kept alive a seven-game unbeaten streak that has featured five wins and two ties, including a 1-0 win at No. 24 Penn State on Thursday. Nebraska entered the day atop the Big Ten standings with 13 points on the season, three up on second-place Minnesota. The Huskers would have liked three points Sunday but Minnesota lost to Rutgers 2-1 in overtime to stay firmly in second.

The Huskers struck first on Sunday when striker Faith Carter netted her eighth goal of the season in the 25th minute. With the score, the senior moved into a tye for first in the conference in goals scored this season; she also ranks in the top five of the league in total points with 17.

Nebraska held a 1-0 lead at halftime, outshooting the Buckeyes 5-2 over the first frame. In the second half, the Huskers again outshot OSU, this time by an 11-4 margin, but the Buckeyes found a way to capitalize on their opportunities with a 57th-minute equalizer.

Junior keeper Aubrei Corder recorded three saves on the afternoon.

The Huskers return home to host Iowa on Friday at Hibner Stadium at 7:05 p.m. CT.
