Nebraska Recruiting: 3-star ATH Myles Farmer Commits To Huskers

November 18, 2018

Nebraska has added another defensive back to the 2019 recruiting class.

On Sunday night, the Huskers got their 21st known commitment of the 2019 class when 3-star (HV Rating: 85.5) defensive back Myles Farmer‍ joined the class. He announced his decision on Twitter.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Farmer was one of several official visitors to Nebraska over the weekend. He becomes the third defensive back in the class joining Quinton Newsome and Javin Wright. The defender held close to 20 scholarship offers including West Virginia, Louisville, Minnesota and NC State.

Nebraska continues to make a huge push to recruit Georgia. Farmer is the third Georgia native in the 2019 class for the Huskers, joining defensive back Quinton Newsome (Suwanee) and running back Ronald Thompkins (Grayson), who visited alongside Farmer this weekend.

The Huskers already have linebackers Mo Barry and Breon Dixon on the roster who are also from Grayson, linebacker Caleb Tannor from Miller Grove High School in Georgia, tight end Katerian Legrone from Atlanta, Tre Neal from Buford and Aaron Williams from Carver.

Nebraska likes Farmer at safety but he has the frame to continue to add weight and slide down into a hybrid role in their 3-4 defense.
