On Saturday, three of Nebraska’s signees competed in the 19th annual All-American Bowl on NBC. Offensive tackle Bryce Benhart‍, defensive end Ty Robinson‍ and wide receiver Wandale Robinson‍, along with priority Nebraska target defensive back Noa Pola-Gates‍, all showed what they can do.

From the start of the game, it was clear that Robinson would make his presence felt.

One nice bonus on that play is that you can see Ty giving chase downfield. That’s a little thing that coaches surely notice.

The West team struggled throughout the game and ended up losing 48-14, but Benhart was still a bright spot for that team. He did a nice job of slowing down the East’s pass rush (except for the one time he was beat by 5-star Nolan Smith). Benhart’s performance is especially impressive when you consider he is playing under his football weight because of wrestling.

Robinson’s skill set was on full display throughout the game as he showed why he was such a sought-after prospect. The numbers are unofficial, but Robinson ended his day with three catched for 88 yards and one carry for six yards. He also returned one kick for 36 yards.

Robinson has good hands and has proven to be tough on the field, which he showed on a play where Nebraska target Pola-Gates made a big hit on him in the third quarter.

While Robinson was initially down, he quickly bounced back up and had a nice exchange with Pola-Gates. Robinson was then back on the field one series where he made another nice catch for 28 yards.

In the end, all of Nebraska’s signees played well during the game. Pola-Gates, the lone Huskers target, showed the big hit ability that he is known for even if it created a scary moment for Husker fans. He will make his college announcement on Jan. 19 at the Polynesian Bowl.

Robinson’s big play ability will be the thing most remember from this game. He will now head to Lincoln on Sunday to get a jump start on his college career.
