Last month, we took a look at the full camp schedule coming up for the Huskers this summer. Among the camps Nebraska is hosting is a National OL/DL Pipeline Camp in Lincoln on June 15.

At the time the camp was announced, the official information provided by the Huskers was:

HuskerCamps.com has partnered with Adidas to make Lincoln, Nebraska, a destination point for top offensive and defensive linemen looking to be instructed by some of the best coaches in the country. The camp will be unique as it will draw participants from a large geographic footprint. It will also allow campers to showcase their skills in padded, contact format. It is expected that the camp to be well represented by other FBS and FCS schools.

On Friday, Nebraska’s Chief of Staff Gerrod Lambrecht tweeted out that teams had signed up for the camp with more to come.

Rice, Arkansas State, Kansas, Miami and Louisville are already on board to be at the camp. The event will get a heavy push since it is sponsored by Adidas. There is also a good chance that some of the talent evaluators from the All-American Game in San Antonio will be on hand too.

All of those factors should really help increase the caliber of prospect that ends up coming through Lincoln this June. Also, when prospects know they can attend a camp that will have a lot of eyeballs on it, they want to come for the additional exposure they’ll receive. So, this type of camp also helps prospects that are under the radar to get their names out there more.

The event has the potential to be massive for Nebraska.
