Former Husker QB Commits to Virginia Tech
Former Nebraska quarterback AJ Bush committed to Virginia Tech on Friday. He made the announcement on Twitter.
Bush transferred from Nebraska to Iowa Western Community College before the 2016 season, where he completed 52-of-114 of his passes for 602 yards, 3 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He will be eligible to play at Virginia Tech this upcoming fall as a redshirt junior.
With two years of eligibility remaining, Bush looks to replace Jerod Evans who recently declared for the NFL Draft via Twitter.
With a wide-open quarterback battle at Virginia Tech, Bush could make an immediate impact for the Hokies in 2017.
