Husker head coach Scott Frost met with the media Thursday, concluding the team’s pregame availability for the week, and addressed freshman wideout Wan'Dale Robinson's status for the game this weekend, how to attack the Wisconsin defense and more.

Frost’s Huskers play No. 14 Wisconsin (7-2, 4-2 Big Ten) on Saturday at Memorial Stadium at 11 a.m. CT on BTN.

He didn't talk for very long, but here's the meat of what he had to say.

>> Robinson did not practice Thursday. Offensive coordinator Troy Walters said Wednesday the freshman wideout/running back was working to get back. Frost said Robinson will be a game-time decision, but he's got a good chance to play.

Frost did add, though, that the Huskers haven't used Robinson of late quite how he would like, with the wideout having to carry a larger burden in the running back room because of necessity.

>> Frost also confirmed freshman safety Noa Pola-Gates is done for the season after suffering an injury during the bye week practices that required surgery. The hope is to have him back for next spring.

>> The talk of the week has been about Nebraska's tempo versus Wisconsin's clock management and ball control. Should Nebraska slow down? Wisconsin's opponents have averaged between 50 and 60 plays; Nebraska's up in the 70s. Frost said the offense has to hit big plays because sustaining drives is difficult against the Badgers, but he, along with the rest of his coaches this week, stressed the importance of efficiency.

"We're not going to get very many chances, first of all," Frost said. "We have to be efficient."

Nebraska won't change who it is on offense, it's just going to have to score points.

>> Robinson, it was announced Thursday morning, is one of four finalists for the Paul Hornung Award, given to football's most versatile player.

"We're lucky to have him in the program," Frost said. "I just think he's going to continue to get better."
