The good news just keeps on coming for John Cook and the Huskers.
Caroline Jurevicius, a 6-foot-2 right side hitter and the No. 6 rated recruit in the 2023 class, committed to Nebraska volleyball on Friday.

Jurevicius’ commitment now makes three total commitments for Nebraska’s 2023 class in just the last 48 hours. She follows Sioux Falls O’Gorman setter Bergen Reilly and Brighton (Colorado) High School middle blocker/outside hitter Andi Jackson in committing to the Huskers. Like Reilly and Jackson, Jurevicius also attended Nebraska’s Dream Team Camp over the past weekend.
The Gates Mills, Ohio, native was recently named to VolleyballMag.com’s girls 25 underclassmen to watch list. She’s also one of Prep Dig’s top prospects in the 2023 class and has most recently been named to the 2021 Girls U18 National Training Team.
John Cook now has three 2022 commits in West Des Moines Valley outside hitter Hayden Kubik, Waverly middle blocker Bekka Allick and Norris setter/defensive specialist Maisie Boesiger and three 2023 commits in Jackson, Reilly and Jurevicius.
Erin is the Deputy Editor and Digital Marketing Strategist for Hail Varsity. She has covered Nebraska athletics since 2012, which has included stops at Bleacher Report, Cox Media Group’s Land of 10, and even Hail Varsity (previously from 2012-2017). She has also been featured on the Big Ten Network, NET’s Big Red Wrap-Up, and a varsity of radio shows nationwide. When not covering the Huskers, Erin is probably at Chipotle.
