There’s a lot of great Husker memorabilia out there. Husker Attic is how we’ve showcased those vintage finds in every issue of Hail Varsity since our very first one. In the weeks ahead we’re sharing some of those gems online for the first time. Brought to you by Husker Army Presents 2020 Husker Collectible and Autograph Show.
2012 Husker Volleyball Tickets
The 2012 season was the Nebraska volleyball team's last playing home matches at the NU Coliseum. The Huskers moved to the renovated Bob Devaney Sports Center for the 2013 season.
>>In addition to 15 home matches, Nebraska played the first two rounds of the NCAA regional at the Coliseum in 2012, sweeping Maryland Eastern Shore and Northern Iowa.
>>The Huskers were 14-1 in regular-season matches in 2012, their only loss at the Coliseum against No. 20 Ohio State, two days before upsetting No. 1 Penn State there.
>>The Ohio State ticket includes a photo of Terry Pettit, Nebraska's coach from 1977 to 1999.
>>The Penn State ticket includes a photo of Pat Sullivan, Nebraska's first coach (1975–76).
>>The Coliseum seated just over 4,000 for volleyball, so tickets were at a premium; the Huskers drew nearly 70,000 for the season, including the regional matches.
