The Nebraska volleyball team will head to Central City, Nebraska, to face Wichita State for the 2023 spring match. The match will take place at the new Bison Activity Dome on Saturday, April 29 at 2 p.m. CT. Doors will open 90 minutes prior to first serve.
This is Nebraska’s first trip to Central City. It is also the eighth different town that the Huskers have traveled to for their spring volleyball match. The Bison Activity Dome—which has a capacity of 2,098—opened in Dec. 2022 and is home to Central City High School athletics.
The Huskers played their 2022 spring match in Grand Island at the Heartland Events Center. Nebraska defeated Kansas, 3-1, in front of a sold-out crowd of 6,117.
Tickets will go on sale for the Huskers’ spring match on Monday, April 10. However, tickets will be sold in person only at the main entrance of the Central City Performing Arts Center at 8 a.m. on Monday, April 10. While a select number of reserved curtsied sears will be available for $27, most tickets for sale will be general admission ($12) and standing room only ($12). No tickets will be sold through the Nebraska Athletic ticket office.
The match will be broadcast statewide on Nebraska Public Media and streamed online on B1G+. Select Huskers Radio Network affiliates and the official Huskers app will also carry the match.
For those able to attend, the Huskers plan to sign autographs after the match as well.
