WATCH: John Cook on Nebraska’s Canceled Matchup with Penn State and More

March 30, 2021

Nebraska’s series with Penn State has been canceled “out of an abundance of caution” surrounding the health and safety of the student-athletes, coaches and staff relating to COVID-19. The news broke just as Coach John Cook was scheduled to speak with the media.

That means Nebraska volleyball will go nearly three weeks without competition prior to the NCAA Tournament. The tournament is set to begin Wednesday, April 14 in Omaha.

“We haven’t been through this one before,” Cook said on Tuesday. “This is new for me.”
