The Nebraska volleyball team didn’t believe Coach John Cook when he told them last weekend’s matches against Northwestern were postponed due to Covid-19.
“They were in disbelief. They didn’t believe me,” Cook said during media availability on Tuesday. “They thought we were playing a joke on them.”
The Huskers now turn their attention toward the upcoming weekend and two matches against Maryland. As for rescheduling the matches with the Wildcats? Cook doesn’t think there will be any four-match weeks, but expects the Big Ten Conference to pair up opponents on pause as best as possible to get as many matches in during the regular season.
