Nebraska women's basketball coach Amy Williams addressed the media Monday morning.
Williams spoke about her squad this season, which is made up by a lot of newcomers. In fact, 45 percent of those on the roster are new to the team. She mentioned leadership as a key in success this season, with Maddie Simon, Hannah Whitish and grad transfer guard Kristian Hudson all being big there. Mentioned Hudson as the most natural leader.
William also said Nebraska opened camp with nothing but defensive drills, calling it "Camp Defense."
Nebraska kicks off its 2018-19 season versus Drake on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
