CU transfer brightens o-line outlook in ’14

The outlook on the Huskers' offensive line in 2014 got a little bit brighter on Friday with the news that Colorado offensive tackle Alex Lewis will transfer to Nebraska. The junior-to-be will sit out this year under NCAA transfer rules, then have two years of eligibility remaining. McBride on mismatches

Former Nebraska defensive coordinator Charlie McBride coached through some blowouts in his time at Nebraska. The Huskers put up more than 800 yards against New Mexico State in 1982 in a 68-0 win and 84 points on Minnesota in 1983.
